Business Development Manager

What we are looking for:

A skilled Business Development Manager to join our team as one of our first sales hires.  At Wise Systems, the inside sales role will be instrumental in the sales cycle - providing the engine that builds our pipeline and drives the sales process.  As an early hire, you will have the opportunity to help shape the future of our sales team. We seek someone who is looking to grow with our team and embrace the opportunity.

What you may be working on:

  • Respond to and qualify incoming web and phone inquiries

  • Partner with sales leadership to help fill their pipeline with qualified leads

  •  Create outbound prospecting campaigns with cold calls, email and social channels

  • Maintain active engagement with new prospects and customers through social marketing and outreach campaigns

  • Hit monthly quotas of sourced qualified opportunities and closed business

  • Develop account penetration strategies to increase brand awareness and build interest

  • Responsible for understanding Wise Systems platform, value proposition and competitive landscape

  • Form relationships with senior decision makers to uncover opportunity

  • Record, manage, and maintain sales activities utilizing analytics and marketing tools

What makes you qualified:

  • 1-2 years of B2B SaaS inside sales experience

  • Strong prospecting skills (both verbal and written)

  • Strong communication skills to customers and team members

  • Enthusiastic and energetic attitude

  • Quick learner, self starter, and problem solver

  • Goal Oriented

  • Prior experience in logistics or supply chain is a plus
