Chazz’s expertise is in using data to solve last-mile issues in urban environments. His experience spans the Human Dynamics Lab at the MIT Media Lab and a variety of startups and companies in areas finance, healthcare, and mobile technology. He holds a Master’s in Engineering in Computer Science from MIT, where he also received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
With a focus on the role of technology in shaping the future of customers’ operations, Jemel leads operations at Wise, in addition to managing long-term strategic and international partnerships. Jemel holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School, and is a member of the New York and Massachusetts Bars. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Pomona College.
With responsibility for customer success and design, Layla brings a wealth of expertise to her role, including startup and academic experience at the MIT Media Lab and at the NASA Ames Research Center. She holds masters’ degrees from MIT and California Polytechnic University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The University of California Irvine.
Ali specializes in employing big data and system dynamics–based models to identify patterns of human mobility. Ali brings deep entrepreneurial and tech strategy consulting experience, and is a graduate of the MIT Media Lab and the Harvard Kennedy School, with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Bringing deep account management and leadership experience, Erich focuses on business development and account management, working with Wise customers to address their last-mile routing challenges. Prior to joining Wise, Erich was Vice President at Gartner, and held sales leadership positions at Forrester Research, and Business Wire. Erich holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Boston University.
A seasoned enterprise software marketing executive, Allison leads marketing strategy. She brings more than 25 years of high tech corporate and product marketing experience, including leadership roles at Elemental Machines, Digital Lumens, OpenWave, Microsoft Startup Labs, Narrative Communications, and IBM/Lotus Development Corporation. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English literature from Boston University.

Dr. Sandy Pentland is a professor at the MIT Media Lab, Sloan Business School, and Institute for Data, Systems & Society. He is also on the Board of Directors of the UN Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data, and has co-founded four startups in the data space.

Edgar Blanco is the Director of Product & Science for Last Mile Planning at Amazon. He is also a Research Affiliate at MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics. Previously, Blanco served as the Senior Director for Logistics Strategy at Walmart.
