Feature Spotlight: Driver Breaks

Wise Systems

Wise Systems

Recently, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Association (FMCSA) preempted state law in California that mandated driver breaks for short-haul drivers. Though breaks are not required by law, many distributors across the United States still include breaks for drivers to ensure safety on the road and to ensure compliance with driver-union rules. Including breaks at predetermined intervals for multiple drivers while keeping delivery time windows in mind is an exercise that can eat away at a dispatcher’s day.

Watch the video to see how your team can quickly ensure driver breaks are taken into account while scheduling routes with Route Planner from Wise Systems. Then, reach out for a demo and discover the rest of Wise Systems delivery automation platform.
