Chazz Sims

CEO

Chazz’s expertise is in using data to solve last-mile issues in urban environments. His experience spans the Human Dynamics Lab at the MIT Media Lab and a variety of startups and companies in finance, healthcare, and mobile technology. He holds a Master’s in Engineering in Computer Science from MIT, where he also received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.

Layla Shaikley

Co-founder

With responsibility for customer success and design, Layla brings a wealth of expertise to her role, including startup and academic experience at the MIT Media Lab and at the NASA Ames Research Center. She holds masters’ degrees from MIT and California Polytechnic University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The University of California Irvine.

Jemel Derbali

COO

With a focus on the role of technology in shaping the future of customers’ operations, Jemel leads operations at Wise Systems, in addition to managing long-term strategic and international partnerships. Jemel holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School and is a member of the New York and Massachusetts Bars. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Pomona College.

Sandy Pentland

MIT Media Lab, Director of Human Dynamics Group

Dr. Sandy Pentland is a professor at the MIT Media Lab, Sloan Business School, and Institute for Data, Systems & Society. He is also on the Board of Directors of the UN Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data and has co-founded four startups in the data space.

Edgar Blanco

Walmart, Vice President Supply Chain Operations

Edgar Blanco is Vice President of Supply Chain Operations at Walmart and a Research Affiliate at the MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics. Previously, he led Last Mile Planning as Director of Product & Science at Amazon.
